Although my clients would have ultimately wanted their homes to be sold, they appreciate the added cash flow to pay their fixed costs during the rental period. Even if the rental market doesn't allow my client to receive enough rent to cover their entire mortgage payment, paying a small amount of negative cash flow every month is a lot easier on their pocketbook than forking over thousands of dollars with no help from a lessee.
