Buffalo Grove's Buddy ball Baseball- its not to late to sign up if you want to volunteer this summer

Buddy Ball Baseball in Buffalo GroveThe Buffalo Grove Buddy Ball Baseball, which started in 1994, allows children with special needs to play baseball by pairing them up with able-bodied buddies. The buddies help their players as needed, whether it be pointing to where the ball should be thrown, helping them run bases or just sharing in the fun. All BGRA members and players are encouraged to experience a Buffalo Grove Buddy Ball game either as a participant or spectator and discover what the joy of baseball is all about.

The Buffalo Grove Buddy baseball league plays its games at the Kendrigran field at the Twin Creek Park located in Buffalo Grove at the corner of Aptakisic and Buffalo Grove Road.  This new  seven-acre, rubberized baseball field at Kendrigran Field is easier for the league's participants to maneuver with their wheel chair's and crutches.
