Buffalo Grove is Opening a Dog Park in June 2010
The Buffalo Grove Park District's Happy Tails Dog Park is under construction, and weather permitting, should be open by the beginning of June. The Buffalo Grove dog park is located at the south end of the parking lot at the Sidney Mathias Metra Train Station 835 Commerce Court, Buffalo Grove, Illinois
Unfortunately
for Cosmo my dog,
who currently
resides in Long Grove, the Buffalo Grove Park District has decided that
at least initially, the Buffalo Grove dog park will only be available
to Buffalo Grove Park District residents. Should its amount of use
suggest that there is room to open it up to others, nonresident permits
would then be made available.
Permits will be available for purchase at the Alcott Center on May 10. You can download the annual or daily use permit and return it to the Alcott Center for processing.
