As I look outside at my backyard covered with snow, approximately 14 inches, I am starting to get the itch to get out on the golf course and hit my golf clubs. Unfortunately, I'm looking at least two months plus until I can get onto a golf course here in the Chicago area. (First the snow needs to melt)
If you are already tired of this Chicago winter and you want to play real Winter Golf, then pack your bags and take a plane to Palm Springs, California, Scottsdale, Arizona, Pinhurst North Carolina or somewhere else warm.
If your budget or time does not allow for these travels, then I recommend that you at least improve your golf game by taking advantage of the wonderful Buffalo Grove Golf Dome. The Buffalo Golf Dome is located at 801 Mchenry Road, ½ mile west of Buffalo Grove Road and Old Mchenry Road. .
