Cheryl Keller, a Buffalo Grove resident, has openings to tutor your elementary aged children. She has 15 years of experience tutoring children in grades K-5. She individualizes the tutoring program to meet the specific needs of each child. Cheryl has successfully utilized the University of Chicago Math Program as well as current teaching methods used in surrounding districts including School District 102 and School District 96.
Cheryl has seven years of classroom teaching experience in second, third, and fourth grades. In addition, she founded Kaleidoscope Kids, a Kindergarten Enrichment program in Buffalo Grove, where she directed and taught the program over the past seven years. This program greatly enhanced students' skills in areas such as reading, writing, math and problem solving.
Cheryl has a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from the University of Illinois and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from National-Louis University. Currently, Cheryl works at Kildeer School in Long Grove where she teaches first and second grade students in several literacy programs.
