Long Grove's Sunset Foods
Unfortunately, due to the current credit crisis and the recent winter storms, Long Grove residents will not be able to experience the new Sunset grocery store until February 10th of 2010. This is 5 months later than originally planned. Many residents aren't happy about the delay since they were anxiously awaiting this new grocery store for the following reasons.
First of all Sunset Foods is a neighborhood supermarket dedicated to providing the finest customer service. They are small enough to get to know you and large enough to stock an outstanding selection of food, liquor, floral and other items at competitive prices.. Customer service is key to them, whether it be loading your car, or providing recipes for their clients, they make shopping a pleasurable experience.
Secondly, they have the unbelievable fresh food. There deli department and salad bar are second to none. Whether you want a precooked dinner for your family, or a gourmet catered meal, Sunset will be able to provide you with these options
Finally, the residents are sorry about the delay is the amount of lost sales tax revenue Sunset would have generated for Long Grove.
No more delays please.....
