Are you planning a move to Lake Zurich, Illinois?
Remember Lake Zurich Schools will be changing their school boundaries starting August 2009.
Starting next school year( August 2009) the Lake Zurich Schools will be changing its school boundaries. The boundary changes were necessitated by the closing of Quentin Elementary School at the end of this school year.
The redistricting consolidates six elementary schools into five, bringing the enrollment at Loomis Elementary School up to about 520 students and keeping enrollment at all schools under 600.
I have provided links for the new districting map. so that if you are moving into Lake Zurich you will be able to check that you are receiving correct information. I would also double check the correct school by calling the district. If you are selling your home, it is important to correctly code your listing with the correct school district.
After this year there will be 5 elementary schools, 2 middle schools and 1 high school in Lake Zurich District 95 as follows:
Elementary
- Charles Quentin will be closing this year….
- Isaac Fox
- May Whitney
- Sarah Adams
- Seth Paine
- Spencer Loomis
Middle
High School

Judy - This is great information for Lake Zurich residents. Out of curiousity, why are they closing the one elementary school?
Judy, very good points. Redistricting and boundaries are constantly changing and you have to stay on top of it with the schools.
Hi Judy,
Providing information on schools is a wonderful service that we can provide the public with our blogging platform. With all the changes in your area, I'm sure many will find this very helpful.
I am amazed by the clients with infants or infants to be who shop for a new home from school district maps! I'll remind them that they can change, but it doesn't matter. They still shop for the high school.
Eric, the closing is based on budget concerns coupled with projected enrollment I have attached an informative newsletter
