Nirvana, located in Vernon Hills, is one of my favorite restaurants in the Chicago Northwest Suburbs.
I love frequenting Nivana in Vernon Hills to enjoy the wonderful and eclectic, tasty food options. At the same time, I can experience the latest in wine flights as well as being entertained by the latest and greatest musical entertainers. Alan Saltzman, one of my favorite guitar players, can be found there often and rivals even the best you could find in the city. The best part of the whole night is that Nirvana is close to home, right here in Vernon Hills, IL. This year Nirvana in Vernon Hills has one more plus - you can bring your dog if you sit on the terrace. My dog Cosmo will have so much fun! 
One of the best things about Nirvana Wine Bar and Grillerie is that they have many menu items that can be prepared gluten-free as well as great vegetarian items that will tempt even the most arduent of meat eaters. And, there is no frying. That's right, frying is a four-letter word at Nirvana.
Their website, www.findmynirvana.com, is a great resource for menus and entertainment schedules. They are open Tuesday thru Saturday for lunch and dinner and Sunday evening for dinner only. I think once you try this delicious restaurant in Vernon Hills, it may be hard to justify driving downtown for an evening of dinner and music.
Nirvana Wine Bar and Grillerie is located at 701 N Milwaukee Ave, Vernon Hills, IL. Make sure you keep your eyes open when looking for this one.
