Unfortunately this restaurant has recently closed as of 1/01/2010. This is very disappointing since it was my favorite breakfast place.
A wonderful new breakfast and lunch eatery opened in Long Grove, Illinois at the Northwest Corner of Half Day Road and Old Mchenry in the Long Grove Commons shopping area. The address is 3970 Route 22. This new delicious restaurant Eggsperience opens at 6:00 am and closes at 4:00 p.m. My favorite entree is Eleni's Egg White Delight, but have also loved the California Eggscramble when I ordered it last week. Oh my God it was so good.
My son Josh tried the Banana pancakes and has described them as the best banana bread he has ever tasted. (except for mine of course since he is in the making of a great politician). 
One of my pet peeves is that a good breakfast place should serve good coffee and they have done this task eggsactly right also! They serve delicious lattes and espressos too.
If you are not in the mood for breakfast food, or you hate egss, no worries, they serve unbelievable sandwiches and salads too. Everything is very tasty!
This is the third Eggsperience to open in just over two years. The first opened in Bannockburn at 2445 Waukegan Road and a year ago another opened in Glenview at 2000 Tower Road. We've been there twice. I love that they give you the whole pot of coffee on the table (water too) so you can refill whenever you want. It's a great addition to Long Grove!
